Welcome to my homepage

I am Professor of Mathematics at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where I coordinate Linear Algebra and Mathematical Models in Data Science courses at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science. My research areas include global Riemann and Finsler geometry, geometric analysis, impact of curvature on the topology of a manifold and various applications in machine learning and data science.

My background in global differential geometry and geometric analysis provides a rigorous foundation for understanding data structures and algorithms at a conceptual level. This mathematical perspective supports a deep comprehension of algorithmic behavior, allowing me to design and fine-tune data-analysis pipelines that maximize the extraction of information hidden within complex datasets.

Key Research Collaboration:

Since 2014, I have maintained a long-term collaboration with the Chiosis Lab at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York. My work focuses on designing and optimizing integrated computational pipelines for complex high-throughput biological data analysis (epichaperomics/dfPPI).
