I am a professor of mathematics at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Research interests:
- Differential geometry. Generally, I am interested in the impact of curvature on the manifold’s topology and in different types of curvatures in Riemann and Finsler geometry.
- Applications of mathematics:
- Mathematical aspects of machine learning and pattern recognition.
- Networks with applications in omics, etc.
